I wrote I AM GRATEFUL back in 2012 when I discovered the amazing spiritual but not religious community of Unity Church In Albany NY. So on one level its a love song to the folks there who would sing along with my songs at the top of their lungs! It's also a love song to all the new friends I've made up here in Saint Lawrence County. And it just happens to be a song that's perfect for Thanksgiving weekend...

If any of you out there have ever kept a gratitude journal or made it a practice to focus on the things and people in your life who you're grateful for you will know that it's literally one of the best "mental hygiene" techniques that anyone can do. We literally get what we focus on. So even if you have to focus on the fact that you have salt and pepper on your table or hot and cold running water, it is extremely practical and helpful self hypnosis that could quite literally change your state and your life...

It's not always easy but then again NOTHING is ALWAYS easy. :o)
